“We want to make it super simple for families to find the best home care for their elderly loved ones”. – Rebecca Bradford, COO Carenade
Carenade is the first fully transparent marketplace for home healthcare. The website was created with the vision of simplifying a key part of the healthcare industry. Dr. Kapper believes, “We should bring medical services back into the home to care for patients where they are most comfortable.” Similarly, Carenade.com makes it easy to shop for, schedule, and pay for home healthcare services. His goal was to “Put all of the best homecare services in one place. As a result, people will have choices and control over their medical services.” He emphasized that this is the first step toward helping patients and providing care in a currently complicated industry.
Carenade Is Changing Home Healthcare
Carenade caught the attention of other business communities who recognize the need for home healthcare services in the growing marketplace. Recently, they joined with Ben Franklin Technology Partners a local incubator network that invests in and startup companies.
Dr. Kapper founded Carenade in 2017 when he had the idea to make affordable home healthcare easily available to the public. Over the past year, he has teamed up with his wife and Co-founder Rebecca Kapper who has helped oversee the expansion of the platform to hospitals, retirement homes, and other locations that will benefit.
The initial launch of Carenade is nearly underway, and the company plans to hit the medical world running. Dr. Kapper said, “We plan to open the site to any all individuals who are looking for home healthcare services in the Bethlehem area. We want to make sure our local community is able to receive the full attention of our team. Likewise, we want to create the best technology before we plan to expand statewide and nationally.”
As the 2018 Lehigh Valley Business Healthcare Hero Award recipient Dr. Kapper plans to do all he can to continue to strengthen the Lehigh Valley and the surrounding communities. Dr. Kapper remarked, “This is just the beginning. The healthcare industry has a lot of room for improvements, and we’re here to put you back in charge of your healthcare.”
